Could it be jealousy..

or is it awe?

I guess it is both. Kneeling at the foot of a flower, staring into her heart, feeling almost overwhelmed by her intricate beauty, the secret of her ever renewing infinite perfection.

Nature is my guide & Couture my expression.

From fashion to painting to garden design to textile sculptures - bringing a piece of “garden” into the interior, indulging in a slow creation process and materials which are beautiful. There are many ways to enjoy luxury - elegant simplicity should be mine.

Often playful, sometimes grave but always lovingly composed - these textile sculptures translate a mood, even tell a story through rhythm, dynamic and relationship. The textiles are mostly Japanese and modern, sometimes form antique kimonos. While I use simple forms, it never ceases to surprise me that the flowers can look so different. Sometimes I use paint to enhance the fabric, sometimes embroidery to add more delicacy.

Bespoke Flower Compositions

As each natural flower is unique, such are these couture flowers. From the selection of fabrics, silk threads and pearls to the making of the flower and finally composing the sculpture, every piece is made in a rather slow process.

These compositions are expressions of a moment, others are possible.
